Danielle is a lawyer, writer, singer, performer, teacher and board member currently based in Richmond, British Columbia.

Born in Richmond and raised in Victoria, British Columbia, Danielle graduated from the University of Victoria with degrees in English Honours (2003) and Law (2004) before attending the London School of Economics, where she obtained a Masters' Degree with Merit in Media and Communications Regulation and Policy.

Danielle has lived in Vancouver, Montreal and London, England, and worked for some of the most prestigious law firms in the world.   She has run her own successful boutique practice focused on technology companies and startups, as well as acting a in-house counsel to a number of Vancouver's best-known organizations.  She has served as an executive member for the Canadian Bar Association, and regularly publishes and presents on legal topics such as technology, privacy and intellectual property.  Danielle has served on many community boards, and develops curriculum and teaches at the University of the Fraser Valley.

While pursuing her law career, Danielle has also thrown herself headlong into a second career in the arts, writing, singing, dancing and acting, and is a Community Arts Coalition Award and Ovation Award nominee for her work as a performer.  She has performed on stages around the Lower Mainland, and is a proud member of the Screaming Chickens Theatrical Society.

Danielle is a devoted slave to her feline life partner, Currie, and a besotted auntie and fairy godmother to her nieces and nephews, who range in age from 11 years to 3 months.  She is very tired. Always.
