Sally Lunn's is the oldest shop in Bath, it's been there since 1492 or something ridiculous like that. Sally is the creator of the "Lunn Bunn," which is basically a gigantic (like, the size of my head) bun that is served with jam and clotted cream. Posted by Hello

We had an amazing sunday roast at a pub called the Crustal Palace. Well, Edy had Sunday Roast, I had vegetable pie, but it was still delish. Had my first ever Yorkshire Pudding in England, too. A kid out on the patio kept coming up to the window and making gagging faces if we got too cuddly. Edy is blissfully unaware of the impending peril...beware Mr. Tears, international weapon of misery! Posted by Hello

You Know You're in London When...

...you get invited to Buckingham Palace for a reception with Queen Elizabeth.

No. Seriously. I really honestly was invited to Buckingham Palace for a reception with Queen Elizabeth. Somehow the Director of Public Affairs for the Canadian High Commission in London has got ahold of my details, and I got an e-mail from someone saying I'd been "randomly selected" to receive an invitation to some do the Queen and Prince Philip are hosting for members of the Canadian community in London, before they pop off to Alberta and Saskatchewan for a visit in May. I'm gonna be like, their Canadian warm up act. Seriously, though, this is getting ridiculous. How many cool things can happen to a girl in one year? I'm leading a charmed life, I musta done something good somewhere along the line...

Anyways, lots of cool blog stuff that I have yet to post, I'll be getting around to it in the next few days, before Edy and I head to Rome (I'm gonna be at the Vatican when they elect the new Pope! See above mentioned "this is getting ridiculous" comment)...from Easter weekend in Germany, and this weekend's excursion to Bath and Stonehenge...
