On Friday night our class went to the Polar Bear Pub in Soho to celebrate the END OF TERM. No more classes. Amanda is giving Julian a geography lesson about Wales.

Thursday, March 17th. St. Patrick's Day. Also the day before the end of the term, and Gjertrud and I both had two papers to hand in the next day...this is evidence that yes, I did actually do some school work in London. 

This is a rare picture of my flatmate Alex, who never lets ME take pictures of him...I dunno how Gjertrud managed to snag this one. But this is handsome Alex. 

Around the Town

So, I'm not a big fan of pictures of myself. At all. But Edy is a bit of a photo-freak and he takes his camera phone and his digital camera everywhere, so I am accumulating a bit of a collection of candid photos from my time out and about in London, so I thought I'd share some...

Doing a bagel run in Brick Lane. I'm on the phone, As usual. Notice the famous (around here) graffiti by Banksy behind us... 

The 24 hour bagel (uh, i mean, "beigel") place in Brick Lane. Why there's a traditional bagel and salt-beef joint in Bangladeshi Brick Lane, I dunno. But that's me in the black coat going to stock up. 

Bagels are about the only cheap thing I've found in London so far...90 p for half a dozen. That's me ordering. In case you needed help picking me out.

Last Friday my classmates and I went to the Standard, in Brick Lane, for curry, and Edy came along as the official photographer. Here I am talking. As usual.
